Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead Field Superintendent - Electrical for a major energy project based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with potential relocation from Reston, VA as required. The role oversees electrical supervision teams, cable installs, and coordination with craft, engineering and field teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, safety, and planning skills, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets on large-scale,

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Experience on combined cycle facilities is preferred.
Knowledge of aboveground and underground raceway installation processes, electrical equipment setting, cable pull management, termination program management, temp power installation.
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability; demonstrated leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

Supervises and directs craft activities as assigned.
Schedules work and reviews progress for each craft.
Participates in development of scopes of work, budgets, contracts and negotiations.
Oversees creation of construction drawings and schedules for workforce and equipment.
