Job summary

Ameren Services (B&CS) is seeking an electrical engineering professional to oversee design reviews, coordinate installations, and lead project execution across FM&C facilities. You will diagnose electrical issues, implement efficiency improvements, and maintain critical documentation to support reliable operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, architects, project managers, and facility managers, with travel to regional offices as needed and the possibility of after-hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Five+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in facilities or commercial electrical infrastructure design; Building Automation System/PLC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review designs to ensure FM&C standards; coordinate electrical system installations and upgrades.
• Implement design improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and support continuous operation.
• Perform field inspections, monitor operation, and provide preventive maintenance recommendations.
• Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, including scoping and contractor coordination.
• Maintain documentation of electrical designs, maintenance, and repair records.
