Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer to design electrical systems for public and water/wastewater facility projects, preparing plans and providing construction support.

The ideal candidate holds a ABET-accredited degree, at least six years of relevant experience, and a PE license with the ability to obtain licenses in additional states within six months. Travel may be required and the position emphasizes mentoring and client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• At least six years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states within six months of hire.
• Experience designing electrical systems for public or water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience with power analysis software and lighting calculation tools.
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for public or water/wastewater facility projects.
• Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction.
• Provide technical support on large or complex projects.
• Perform construction administration and site visits.
• Mentor staff and coordinate work with subcontractors, teaming partners, and suppliers.
• Manage client relationships.
