Job summary
Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer to design electrical systems for public and water/wastewater facility projects. You will prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction, provide technical support on large projects, and conduct construction administration and site visits.
Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with subcontractors and partners, and managing client relations. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET‑accredited college or university.
- At least six (6) years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- A PE license in any state with ability to obtain in additional states within six (6) months of hire.
Responsibilities
- The design of electrical systems for public or water/wastewater facility projects.
- Preparing plans and specifications of electrical systems for bidding and construction.
- Technical support on large and/or complex projects.
- Providing construction administration and site visits.
- Mentoring staff; coordinating work and communication between subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers.
- Client management.
- Some travel will be required.
