Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to lead electrical design for municipal water/wastewater projects. You will focus on medium/low-voltage power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and grounding, while managing project scope, budget, and schedules.

The role requires 15 years of relevant experience, a PE license in AZ or reciprocity, and strong NEC knowledge with AutoCAD proficiency. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of project support.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, preferably with an emphasis on power.
• Professional Engineering License in Arizona or ability to obtain reciprocity in 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate electrical design for water/wastewater projects with emphasis on medium/low-voltage power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and grounding.
• Manage projects and budgets, schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Control Systems and Process Mechanical groups.
• Develop design criteria, perform calculations, create one-line diagrams and control schematics.
