Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions, through DEPCOM Power, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for utility-scale PV solar and energy storage EPC projects. You will own design packages, calculations, studies, and ensure constructible, code-compliant solutions across design through construction, commissioning, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with electrical power systems experience.
• Experience in EPC projects, utility-scale PV solar, Energy Storage, or power systems engineering.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and related industry standards.
• Experience developing or reviewing electrical drawing packages, design studies, and calculations.
• Willing to travel up to 15% to project sites or vendor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical design for PV and BESS projects from concept to IFC.
• Own electrical drawing packages, calculations, studies, and documentation.
• Make sound technical decisions based on codes, project requirements, and constraints.
• Ensure designs are constructible, coordinated, and aligned with execution strategy.
• Lead or review power system analyses and equipment sizing.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical discussions.
