Actalent in Weston, FL is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead electrical subsystems for a next-generation robotic platform. This hands-on role covers PCBA design, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with software, systems, mechanical, quality, and regulatory teams to deliver reliable electrical solutions from concept to commercialization. A Bachelor's in EE and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Five or more years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with PCBA design and board bring-up is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across software, mechanical, and quality teams.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI and design for manufacturability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and development of a major robotic subsystem.
• Translate product needs into electrical requirements and designs.
• Develop PCBA designs and perform board bring-up and testing.
• Integrate hardware with embedded software and mechanical components.
• Support design documentation, risk management, and transfer to production.
• Lead trade-off decisions on performance, safety, and cost.
