Job summary

Impact Business Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month+ contract in the medical robotics field. You will lead electrical design for a major robotic subsystem, translate requirements into electrical interfaces, and develop complex PCBAs with Altium.

• Experience leading electrical design of robotic subsystems.
• PCB design and verification across rigid/flex boards.
• Ability to integrate electrical with embedded software and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and development of a major robotic subsystem.
• Translate product and system needs into electrical requirements, interfaces, and designs.
• Develop complex PCBAs, including schematic design and board layouts.
• Perform PCB layout reviews, bring-up, characterization, testing, and debugging using Altium.
• Integrate electrical hardware with embedded software and mechanical components.
