Actalent is hiring a Systems Engineer for a contract role based in Weston, FL. The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams through concept, development and sustaining phases, applying systems engineering methods to ensure design alignment with user needs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving and domain expertise, with onsite work and a focus on Mechatronic and motion control systems in medical technology contexts.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-4 YEARS in Systems Engineering in analysis and design.
• Mechanical and Electrical Systems experience.
• PREFERRED: Mechatronic, robotics and/or Motion Control systems.
• Systems Prototyping experience.
• Medical Technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering activities from concept to market release and sustaining support.
• Apply traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies and simulation to verify designs.
• Coordinate integration and contribute to verification efforts across domains.
• Balance multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
