Qnity’s Silicon Valley Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive advanced PCB and IC packaging projects. Translate high-speed RF, SI, EMI requirements into material selection, design guidance, simulation, and validation for top OEMs.

You will collaborate with metrology, thermal, optics, and mechanical teams, mentor junior engineers, and advance IPC-aligned characterization for mass production while representing Qnity in industry forums.

Qualifications

4+ years of RF, SI, EMI/EMC fundamentals in PCB design or electronic materials.
Experience with RF design, simulation, measurement, and characterization.
Familiarity with IPC standards and test methods for electronic materials.

Responsabilités

Lead applications development to advance adoption of Qnity’s flex, rigid PCB and IC packaging materials with OEMs.
Define requirements with customers and translate them into engineering plans and validated solutions.
Design, simulate, and characterize RF, SI, power integrity, and EMI test vehicles.
Collaborate with internal teams to solve EMI/EMC challenges and develop prototypes.
Own RF/SI characterization at SVTC with VNAs up to 120 GHz and related tools.
Use EM tools to guide material recommendations and design decisions.
Develop IPC-aligned characterization methodologies for qualification and scale‑up.
Move technologies from concept to customer validation and mass production readiness.
Represent Qnity in industry consortia and customer forums.
Deliver technical training and mentor junior engineers.
