Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and technical execution of modular infrastructure projects, owning system architecture from concept through production while guiding cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

This role involves developing schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and installation documentation, collaborating with mechanical, controls, and manufacturing groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience designing industrial electrical systems or power infrastructure.
• Experience developing electrical schematics and production documentation.
• Experience performing electrical calculations supporting industrial power systems.
• Experience leading technical engineering activities across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems supporting modular infrastructure and industrial power systems.
• Develop electrical architectures, single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, controls, and project teams.
• Perform and review electrical calculations supporting power distribution, equipment sizing, protection, grounding, and system performance.
