Job summary

GTI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for modular infrastructure projects, including BESS, GenSets, modular data centers, and industrial skids. You will develop schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring documentation, and production-ready designs for integration.

Role involves collaboration with mechanical, controls, and manufacturing teams, load calculations, and documentation maintenance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience developing electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
• Experience with electrical CAD software such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems supporting modular infrastructure and industrial equipment.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
• Support integration of switchgear, transformers, generators, batteries, UPS systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical engineering, controls, manufacturing, and project teams.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and basic electrical analysis.
• Develop production-ready electrical documentation supporting manufacturing and integration.
• Support compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and continuous product improvements.
• Support prototype builds, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
