Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to design and implement industrial electrical systems from concept through construction, installation, and start-up. You will work with a team of engineers and collaborate with designers, project managers, coordinators, and manufacturing personnel, as well as external clients and suppliers.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules, design criteria, and project-specific requirements while traveling to customer facilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Minimum 5 years' experience designing industrial electrical systems.
PE license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of industrial electrical systems for clients.
Coordinate with engineers and internal teams to meet design requirements.
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders throughout design and start-up.
Develop electrical designs and perform calculations for power and control systems.
Apply NEC and NFPA codes to electrical system design.
Plan equipment installation and start-up requirements.
Provide supervision during installation and commissioning as needed.
Deliver clear technical documentation to stakeholders.
Travel to customer facilities for design meetings and commissioning.
