Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design from basis of design through construction and startup. The role offers growth as engineers take on more leadership responsibilities on projects across industrial, semiconductor, and life sciences facilities.

You will collaborate with process, mechanical, and controls teams, mentor junior staff, and help ensure safe, compliant power systems.

Qualifications

Licensed PE (Electrical) with Vermont registration or ability to obtain.
Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, semiconductor, or life sciences facilities.
Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards.
Experience running power system studies using SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
Semiconductor facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generation, and fire alarm.
Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
Support construction administration, including submittal and RFI review and site visits.
Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
Mentor junior engineers and designers.
