Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks an experienced Electrical Design Lead to oversee the detailed design for hyperscale data centers in Houston, TX. You will coordinate with project teams and field personnel to ensure on-scope delivery within budget and schedule.

Ideal candidates have 11+ years of related experience, strong AutoCAD/Revit/BIM skills, and excellent client communication. PE license preferred or actively pursued; onsite work five days per week.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with substantial related experience.

Lead detailed electrical design for large-scale hyperscale data centers, potentially leading the design team, and coordinate with project teams and field personnel to deliver work on scope, budget, and schedule. Assess design risks related to redundancy and resiliency, conduct field surveys, prepare and review technical deliverables, mentor junior staff, and coordinate directly with clients.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 11 years of related experience, including prior work on hyperscale data centers of at least 40 MW. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, have strong communication skills, and be able to work onsite five days per week; a PE license is preferred or actively being pursued.
