Job summary
Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in power systems for a leadership role in Baltimore. You will guide complex engineering projects, mentor teams, and cultivate client relationships across commercial, manufacturing, institutional, and government sectors.
You will oversee design work, ensure code compliance, and contribute to business development through proposals and client engagement. Strong leadership and communication are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Strong background in power systems and electrical infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM, ETAP, or similar software.
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and applicable electrical codes.
- Demonstrated project management and team leadership experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and client relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical power distribution and building systems design.
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and engineering teams.
- Oversee technical drawings, specifications, and code assignments.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and engineering disciplines.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Support business development, client engagement, and proposal preparation.
