Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Burlington, VT area to lead electrical design on industrial and semiconductor facility projects. The role involves taking projects from basis of design through construction and startup, with opportunities to grow into greater leadership responsibilities.

The engineer will design power distribution, coordinate with other disciplines, and mentor junior staff, all while applying NEC and NFPA 70E standards and leading system studies.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with VT registration or ability to obtain.
Experience in electrical design for industrial or semiconductor facilities.
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E; able to perform short circuit and arc flash studies.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design on projects from basis of design through construction and startup.
Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications and construction documents.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
Support construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
Mentor junior engineers and designers.
