Raas Infotek LTD in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive end-to-end design, integration, and optimization of complex electrical systems for data center HVAC products. You will lead cross-functional teams through development, validation, and field support, ensuring NEC/UL compliance, reliability, and energy‑efficient performance across multi-disciplinary subsystems.

Occasional travel up to 15% is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an Associate’s Engineering degree with at least 5 years experience.
• Experience designing and validating electrical or controls panels.
• Strong BOM and documentation skills.
• Experience with 3D models and wiring software: Solidworks Electrical and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Knowledge of NEC and UL/CSA standards.
• Ability to manage complex cross-functional technical projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• Experience with industrial electrical panels and power distribution.

Responsabilidades

• Design and document electrical systems for data center HVAC products, including controls panels, power distribution and wiring harnesses.
• Develop and maintain electrical 3D models, single-line and three-line drawings, electrical routings for production, schematics, BOMs and documentation for air handling units, liquid cooling loops, fan arrays, and heat exchangers.
• Design electrical and controls panels including structural integrity, heat run and water leakage test.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems, design intent and serviceability.
• Apply and interpret the National Electric Code (NEC) and ensure designs comply with UL 60335-2-40, UL-508 and NFPA requirements for safety and performance.
• Integrate electrical and control systems with mechanical and refrigerant subsystems.
• Support applications engineering, prototype builds, verification testing, and field evaluations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, tools, VAVE and standards.
• Maintain configuration control of electrical drawings, ECOs, and documentation.
• Lead and complete complex New Product Development, Sustaining, Engineer-to-Order and Field Installation projects on-time and on-budget.
• Size and test low voltage electrical equipment, cables, harnesses and components.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Associate’s Engineering degree with at least 5 years experience in a related field.
• Solid experience with electrical or controls panel design, testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, bill of materials and documentation.
• Experience with 3D models and electrical wiring software such as Solidworks Electrical and Autocad Electrical.
• Working knowledge of NEC and UL/CSA standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technical projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer sites or factory support (up to 15%).
• Practical experience with industrial electrical panels and compartments, motor control circuits, VFDs, contactors and power distribution.

Preferred

Ability to perform short circuit calculations, harmonic filter analysis and power system studies will be a plus.
