Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer for its Chicago, IL office to lead an electrical engineering team providing advisory services and end-to-end design solutions in the energy sector.

You will collaborate with client managers and the sales team on strategic pursuits, mentor junior staff, and drive project delivery while advancing the energy transition portfolio. Hybrid work arrangement and travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience.
Professional Engineering licensure (any US state) or ability to obtain license in additional states.
Ability to engage with clients, win work, and deliver innovative solutions.
Experience with business growth strategy and new project opportunities.
Experience with proposal development and project execution planning.
Mentor and develop junior technical staff.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Willingness to travel and to work at least 2 days/week in Chicago office.

Responsibilities
