Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer / Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. This full-time role requires US citizenship and a active DoD Secret clearance.

The position focuses on leading electrical design, system interconnects, and architecture development, coordinating across design and integration teams, and delivering high-stakes engineering work with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.
• 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years with a Master's, or 4+ with a PhD for Sr. Principal.
• Experience leading people with critical deadlines and requirements.
• US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance; SAP access capability.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal program and technical exchange meetings.
• Support program milestone reviews with progress updates.
• Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
• Create interconnect diagrams supporting Command Systems Architecture.
• Review engineering deliverables including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure design uniformity and integration.
• Prepare technical reports and present design concepts to stakeholders.
