Job summary

HKA Enterprises is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design medium- and low-voltage power systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. The role is remote within the United States, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to produce construction documents.

You will lead a team of electrical engineers, review packages for NEC/NFPA compliance, mentor junior staff, and help manage quality, scope and budget on fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 6+ years designing medium/low-voltage distribution systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with industrial facility design and NEC/NFPA knowledge.
• Proficient with Revit/BIM and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and collaborate across disciplines.
• Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design medium/low-voltage distribution, building and campus power systems.
• Engineer facility power, UPS, grounding, lighting, and comms systems.
• Support Data Center and AI Factory projects, including retrofits.
• Define design requirements, review packages, and produce construction docs.
• Coordinate with teams, clients, owners and contractors on-site support.
• Help manage quality, scope, budget and schedule.
• Lead Electrical Engineering team and mentor staff.
