Job summary

Goodman is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across data center projects in the US, reporting to the Regional Director. The role guides technical direction, reviews submittals, and coordinates with vendors and consultants to meet quality, budget, and schedule goals.

You will support RFP/RFI processes, coordinate design through construction, and mentor project teams while advancing energy efficiency and high-performance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or Masters) in Engineering (Electrical).
• Minimum 10 years’ electrical or building services design and construction experience in data center builds.
• Experience with electrical protection and grading studies.
• Strong project management or project lead experience including RFQ/RFP processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data center design bases and vendor relations.
• Understanding hyperscale data center operations and cost pricing.

Responsibilities

• Support development team in preparing RFPs, RFIs and technical requests.
• Review design disciplines, instruct RFIs, and approve technical submittals.
• Lead electrical services design delivery from concept to construction documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors to procure equipment meeting specs and budget.
• Manage external consultants and contractors through design to construction.
• Ensure delivery within budget, scope and timelines; mentor team members.
