Job summary

PD Power Systems LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical and control systems for power generation and distribution, collaborating with Mechanical Engineers to integrate controls into electrical packages.

Requires a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years' hands-on experience, or a 2-year technical college degree/military path with 15+ years in electrical and controls design.

Qualifications

• 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience, or 2-year technical college/military experience with 15+ years of electrical and controls design experience.
• Experience with 2D CAD is required; 3D CAD is desirable.
• Familiarity with PLCs, generator controls, and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain electrical schematics and wiring drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Source components based on customer requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to develop products.
