Job summary

Kimberly-Clark USA, LLC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Jenks, OK to lead design, research, and capital projects across North America for tissue machines, converting equipment, and mill utilities. The role involves DCS/PLC controls, drives, QCS and web handling systems, with projects up to $10 million from concept to commercialization.

Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field and 4 years in mill/production/R&E environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in a mill, production, or staff R&E environment.
  • Experience with Rockwell programming, AC drives, servo drives, and PLC logic.
  • Experience with tissue manufacturing processes and converting operations.
  • Ability to manage projects with budgets up to $10 million.
  • Willingness to travel domestically 30% and telecommuting within company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, research and capital project management for tissue machines and converting equipment.
  • Coordinate OEM/vendor activities and bid package development.
  • Oversee commissioning, startup and startup risk mitigation.
  • Apply advanced electrical engineering to integrate DCS/PLC-based controls and machine drives.
  • Ensure safety codes and policies are followed; mentor junior staff.
