Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Enterprise Capital Engineering team across the Tissue Value Stream. You will lead capital projects from conception through startup, with a focus on safety, efficiency and obsolescence mitigation.

The role requires 3+ years in mill/production or R&D settings, travel, and strong leadership abilities to mentor engineers and deliver results. Collaboration with multiple functions and external providers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or relevant scientific field.
• 3+ years of related technical experience in mill, production or staff R&D environments.
• Travel is required; typical travel 2–30%.
• Experience with capital project leadership and equipment/start-up is implied by the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to the Enterprise Capital Engineering team across the tissue value stream.
• Lead capital projects from conception through start-up and commercialization, focusing on Beech Island OLU project execution.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, tissue mill sites, OEMs, and service providers.
• Identify root causes and develop solutions to safety, reliability, and performance issues.
• Coach and mentor engineers to improve NA tissue value stream results.
• Document project activities following PMP guidelines and policies.
