An established industry player is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to lead complex projects in nuclear power. This role involves troubleshooting and solving diverse engineering challenges while ensuring project deliverables meet stringent quality and financial standards. The successful candidate will collaborate across disciplines, mentor junior engineers, and engage directly with clients to foster strong relationships. You will be leading the group on interesting and challenging projects that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of electrical engineering issues to support single and multi-discipline projects.
The majority of the projects performed for our clients require multi-discipline interface and coordination.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the team for detailed design phases for all aspects of electrical engineering work, including interface and coordination with other disciplines.
Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
Develop proposals for electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
Provide technical oversight and supervision for electrical engineering activities, including:
Interface with the client to validate scope and ensure satisfaction.
Mentor and guide the development of the group.
Identify client needs for strategic opportunities.
Leverage client relationships for follow-on work.
Prepare and coordinate multi-discipline proposals.
