We are hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer who is ready to provide solutions that inspire our employees, exceed our clients’ expectations, and create a lasting legacy in our communities. We seek a candidate eager to advance their career by leading electrical design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including low and medium voltage power, standby power, motor controls, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use professional judgment to independently complete engineering tasks within established local, state, and federal criteria.
• Design water/wastewater and utility projects that meet client needs.
• Ensure accuracy of work through HR Green's QA/QC processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical, schedule, or financial issues through effective communication with project management.
• Assist in bidding or contractor selection if authorized.
• Respond to contractor questions and prepare project addenda as needed.
• Prepare change orders as authorized.
• Contribute to engineering proposals, including calculations, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Sign and seal engineering documents as an authorized representative.
• Communicate technical matters directly with clients.
• Under supervision, assign and manage tasks for staff engineers and project team members.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Professional registration (P.E.) in applicable states or ability to obtain within six months.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 4 years in design/engineering of electrical systems for buildings/infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (or similar) drafting software.
• Water/wastewater design experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation Range

$101,200.00 - $161,600.00

The final salary depends on education, experience, skills, and location, and may include bonuses and incentives.
