Lumicity in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture for a new modular power generation platform.

I'm working with an early-stage, exciting startup in El Segundo, CA that's building a new modular power generation platform.

Looking particularly for a Lead Electrical Engineer focused on power conversion and integration. This person will own the electrical architecture across high-power rotating machinery/turbomachinery, turbines/generator architecture, power electronics, drives/rectifiers, grounding, EMI/EMC, vendor evaluation, procurement, integration, and hands-on test/commissioning.

It's a rare founding engineer opportunity to join early, work directly with the technical founding team, and have real ownership from architecture through test, validation, and eventual production.

This could be a strong fit if you've worked across high-power electrical hardware, motor drives/generators, gas/steam turbines, MW-class systems, turbomachinery, industrial power, or complex power electronics integration.
