The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer for industrial/plants projects in the Greer, SC area. You will lead a team of engineers and designers, oversee power-system design, and ensure compliance with NEC and API standards.

Candidate should bring 12+ years of leadership experience in industrial settings, expertise in medium/low voltage systems, and strong client/vendor interaction skills. Relocation considered; local preferred.

• 12+ years leading electrical engineering teams in industrial settings.
• Industrial/chemical/manufacturing plant design experience.
• Strong medium- and low-voltage power system design experience.
• Experience with electrical equipment design and installation in industrial/chemical plants.
• Transformer and generator sizing/specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and API Recommended Practices.
• Grounding expertise.
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
• Experience directing engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Strong electrical design, calculations, and studies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and interact with clients, vendors, and PMs.

Must-Haves

• 12+ years of experience as a Lead/Discipline Lead Electrical Engineer
• Industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or heavy industrial plant design experience
• Strong medium- and low-voltage power system design experience
• Experience with electrical equipment design and installation in industrial/chemical plants
• Transformer and generator sizing/specifications
• Strong knowledge of:
• NEC
• API Recommended Practices
• Grounding
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• Experience leading/directing engineers, designers and drafters
• Strong electrical design, design review, calculations and studies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, contractors and PMs
