Job summary
The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer for industrial/plants projects in the Greer, SC area. You will lead a team of engineers and designers, oversee power-system design, and ensure compliance with NEC and API standards.
Candidate should bring 12+ years of leadership experience in industrial settings, expertise in medium/low voltage systems, and strong client/vendor interaction skills. Relocation considered; local preferred.
Qualifications
- 12+ years leading electrical engineering teams in industrial settings.
- Industrial/chemical/manufacturing plant design experience.
- Strong medium- and low-voltage power system design experience.
- Experience with electrical equipment design and installation in industrial/chemical plants.
- Transformer and generator sizing/specifications.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and API Recommended Practices.
- Grounding expertise.
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
- Experience directing engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Strong electrical design, calculations, and studies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and interact with clients, vendors, and PMs.
