Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, with up to $140,000 annual compensation and occasional travel. You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with fabrication offices, and drive complete power distribution drawings and specs from inception through construction.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), 6+ years in industrial power distribution, and familiarity with IEEE/NEC/NESC standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 6+ years of related engineering experience required.
• Proficiency in IEEE, NEC, and NESC standards.
• Demonstrated success in industrial power distribution projects (oil & gas experience preferred).
• PE preferred — if not licensed, FE with intent to obtain PE within one year required.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level electrical design and analysis supporting field projects and fabrication offices.
• Serve as discipline lead on projects from inception through construction completion, managing internal and external resources.
• Develop complete electrical power distribution construction drawing and specification packages.
• Lead electrical projects with a focus on budget monitoring and deliverable coordination.
• Perform grounding studies, protection and coordination studies, and equipment layout/specification.
