Job summary
DSJ Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Greenville, SC to lead electrical design and development from concept through commissioning, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, project management and customers.
You will design power distribution, control systems, and electrical infrastructure, create drawings, schematics and BOMs, perform electrical calculations, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects from concept through commissioning.
- Design power distribution, controls, and electrical infrastructure solutions.
- Develop electrical drawings, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.

- Support testing, troubleshooting, validation, and startup activities
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and provide technical leadership throughout project execution
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience
- Experience with power distribution, controls, or industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with switchgear, generators, UPS systems, or power distribution equipment
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar electrical design software
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and communication protocols
- Familiarity with NEC and other electrical codes and standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
