Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 year technical degree or equivalent Electrical Distribution work experience.
• Electrical Distribution/Transmission/Substation experience: 10 years cumulative or 5 years distribution technical experience.
• Distribution Design experience: 2 years with DIS, GDT or Maximo.
• Good knowledge of Entergy Construction Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Approves timesheets, monitors vacation/time off, and handles union contract applications where applicable.
• Balances workload among DDs with Planner/Scheduler and provides technical assistance to customer questions or requests.
• Approves design jobs up to $150k, checks revenue calculations, CIAC and taxes, drawings, and relevant codes.
• Provides post-construction audits to ensure designer accuracy and correct frequent mistakes.
• Assists with difficult design issues, and customer issues or complaints.
• Provides basic surveying, field operation, DIS/GDT/Maximo, safety procedures, and Construction Standards training for the DDs.
• Performs office audits, driver observations, and other safety-related tasks.
