Job summary
Industrial Electric Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead our design engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in design engineering related to switchgear or power generation equipment.
- Experience providing mentorship to design engineers.
- Understanding of NRTL certifications and UL listings.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement culture within the engineering team.
- Assign customer orders to engineering staff and ensure deadlines are met.
- Review drawings and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provide instruction, training, coaching, and mentorship for design engineers.
- Facilitate factory tours and support high-level testing of IEM products.
