Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in design engineering related to switchgear, power generation equipment, or custom control systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role providing mentorship to design engineers.
• Knowledge of NRTL certifications and UL listings.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement culture for engineering and product deliverables.
• Assign customer orders to engineering staff and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review drawings and BOM for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide instruction, training, coaching, and mentorship for design engineers.
• Travel occasionally for engineering surveys and meetings, not exceeding 15%.
