Job summary

HGA seeks a Department Leader & Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead its California Electrical Group. You will drive design delivery for large, complex projects across healthcare, corporate, and government facilities, while guiding multidisciplinary teams and maintaining active project involvement.

You will shape department strategy, grow capability, manage staffing, and foster client relationships, balancing leadership with hands-on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in electrical systems design for healthcare, commercial, institutional, or government facilities.
• Active California PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the California Electrical Group and oversee design and delivery of complex projects.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and implement department strategy, resources, and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver sustainable, high-quality electrical design solutions.
