Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Controls Engineer to architect and own integrated control and monitoring ecosystems for connected power systems.

You will drive platform selection, system design, field installation support, testing, and commissioning across multi-site programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's level in industrial control systems or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in industry.
• Expert-level PLC/HMI/SCADA experience with major platforms.
• Deep knowledge of EtherNet/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP, PROFINET, IO-Link.
• Hands-on IPC-based development using CODESYS.
• Broad cross-disciplinary electrical, mechanical, and controls expertise.
• Proven risk management and mitigation for complex projects.
• Demonstrated budget and expense management capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own complete delivery for connected services applications from $50K to $20M.
• Define system architecture and drive technical reviews across platforms.
• Provide leadership for project execution across technical, financial, and commercial aspects.
• Act as primary customer interface on major projects, owning baselines.
• Lead or support negotiations on proposals, estimates, change orders, and directives.
• Coordinate internal engineers and third-party suppliers for electrical delivery and modular systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service to deliver profitable solutions.
• Support hiring, development, and retention of a high-caliber team.
• Identify execution risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Present project activity and financial updates to customers and stakeholders.
