Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Brooklyn Park, MN to lead the electrical design for next‑generation industrial printing systems. The role spans concept to production with emphasis on print controllers, printheads, and system‑level architecture.

You will work across embedded software, firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, compliant hardware solutions. An 8+ year background in electrical design is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical design engineering experience, preferably with embedded systems.
• Strong, hands-on FPGA experience.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems, FPGA, power electronics, and system-level electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and development of industrial printing systems from concept through production.
• Design electrical systems for print controllers and printheads.
• Develop electrical architectures, technical specifications, schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
• Perform circuit analysis and lead PCB/PCBA design, bring-up, troubleshooting, and production launch.
• Collaborate with FPGA and high-performance SoC processors as part of embedded system development.
• Create and maintain electrical design documentation.
• Lead prototype development, lab testing, and field testing.
• Diagnose complex electrical and system-level issues and drive solutions to production.
