Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering (or related).
• 10+ years of experience designing electric motors or high-performance electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in PMSM/BLDC/AC synchronous motor design, including magnetic circuits and thermal management.]
• Hands-on proficiency with ANSYS tools for electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of PMSM, BLDC, AC synchronous motors from requirements through production.
• Review requirements, develop motor-level interfaces, and author detailed motor specs and verification criteria.
• Perform electromagnetic and thermal analyses using ANSYS tools; assess rotor dynamics and bearing effects.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, qualification, and correlation of test results with models.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.
