Job summary

Leech Lake Band Of Ojibwe is seeking a kitchen staff member to prepare and cook food for Elderly participants for daily lunch service. Lead responsibility for kitchen work areas, monitor activities, and participate in food production and delivery for home-delivery and congregate meals.

Follow menus, manage portions, ensure food safety, and report incidents promptly. Requires High School Diploma or GED (preferred), Food Service or delivery experience, and a current ServSafe certification within 6

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Service and/or delivery experience preferred.
• Possess or obtain a current ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work area.
• Provide meals within time frame expectations.
• Direct others’ duties as needed to complete meal services.
• Assist as needed or directed.
• Attend and/or conduct all mandatory meetings and trainings as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
• All other related duties as assigned.
