Job summary

Veolia Water Tech in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced EI&C engineer to lead instrument, electrical, and programming design for water treatment facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop detailed electrical designs, and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include review of P&IDs, instrument lists, FATs, and project deliverables, manage budget and schedule, and engage with clients during FAT/CVTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant or related experience in complex industrial control system design.
• Passport and driver’s license are required for US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Read and comment on engineering documents (P&IDs, GAs, process design guidelines).
• Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications.
• Perform instrument selection and design calculations for water facilities with safety in mind.
• Design detailed electrical systems: single line diagrams, load lists, I/O lists, network architectures, panels and schematics.
• Develop process control documents (Control Philosophy, Logic & Sequence Charts) for plant operation.
• Conduct FATs, CVTs and checkouts as required.
• Develop automation deliverables including test plans and network design.
• Manage budget, scope, schedule, and report project risks and opportunities.
