Job summary

Nikon AM Synergy Inc. is seeking a Technician III, EHS to support the EHS Manager in implementing and improving Environmental, Health, and Safety programs within a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will manage hazardous waste, assist with electrical safety and high-voltage programs, and oversee crane and equipment safety while ensuring regulatory compliance and incident investigations are thoroughly handled.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in EHS or related technical field, preferably in aerospace or industrial manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED; a higher degree is preferred (EHS, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene).
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste management, including RCRA and chemical safety.
• Working knowledge of high-voltage electrical safety; NFPA 70E familiarity preferred.
• Experience with cranes, hoists, aerial lifts, and powered industrial vehicles.
• Ability to read and apply safety regs, codes, and standards.
• Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required; eligible for DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous metal and chemical waste programs, labeling, storage, and vendor coordination.
• Assist with electrical safety programs for 480V systems and 4000A service; support lockout/tagout.
• Oversee crane, hoist, aerial lift, and equipment safety; schedule inspections and track certifications.
• Support OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA compliance; assist with permits and regulatory submissions.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness, training, and documentation for EHS.
• Maintain EHS records, SDS files, inspection logs, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality on risk mitigation.
