Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking a Lead EHS Specialist for a remote, 6-month contract opportunity. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring EHS programs across manufacturing and lab environments, delivering training, and driving safety improvements.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in EHS (or related field) with 5+ years of experience, strong OSHA knowledge, and excellent communication and project management skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS or related experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety regulations, and EHS best practices.
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives across manufacturing and lab operations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain accurate records of findings and corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training programs, including new hire orientation and equipment licensing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and continuous improvement.
