Job summary

Perrigo Company plc is seeking an Associate Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead EHS programs across our manufacturing operations. This role reports to the VP of Operations and sits on the Network Leadership team, driving compliance and sustainability in highly regulated environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership in regulated manufacturing, with FDA GMP knowledge and experience in inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership in regulated manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years leading EHS programs and personnel.
• Experience in infant formula/pharma/food/nutritional products manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FDA GMP requirements, OSHA, EPA and environmental regulations.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and agency interactions.
• Ability to influence at all levels and drive culture change.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise and site-level EHS strategies aligned with business goals.
• Develop and improve EHS management systems and metrics.
• Champion proactive safety culture through leadership and coaching.
• Oversee regulatory compliance across FDA, OSHA, EPA, ISO standards.
• Manage risk assessments, incident investigations, and CAPAs.
• Oversee environmental permits, reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance on EHS in manufacturing.
• Lead and mentor EHS professionals across sites.
