U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Amarillo VA Health Care System seeks an Executive Director to oversee the VHA Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program.

This role requires deep knowledge of federal EEO regulations, compliance, and the ability to advise top management on program strategy and personnel matters. Primary duties include directing complaint processing activities, coordinating with ORMDI staff, conducting training, analyzing workforce data, and updating plans to improve equity.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of federal EEO regulations, program development and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to write reports reflecting findings and recommendations in program management.
• Experience in conflict resolution, training, and executive facilitation.
• Possession of time-in-grade considerations for current federal employees.

Aufgaben

• Direct local liaison for all aspects of the facility's complaint processing program.
• Coordinate with EEO counselors, investigators, and intake staff during investigations.
• Provide documentation, identify involved employees, discuss resolutions, and draft settlements.
• Advise during post-investigative stages (hearings, appeals, compliance).
• Develop and oversee an ADR program and facilitate negotiated settlements.
• Lead mandated EEO training for managers and supervisors within 60 days of hire.
• Analyze workforce data by race, sex, grade, and policies; identify improvement opportunities.
