Grizzle is an organic content marketing agency that helps enterprise and scaleup SaaS companies create and distribute quality content. Our clients include Semrush, Pipedrive, Web.com, Nextiva, ConnectWise, and Tide.

We’re a fully remote team dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals and nurturing the best content and marketing talent in the B2B space. We want to empower you to do your best work and become the top 1% in your craft. There’s no progression ceiling here—many Grizzle alumni have joined us as junior editors and become Heads of Content and marketing superstars.

About the role:

We’re looking for talented Lead Editors—both FTEs and freelancers—to work with us on an ongoing basis. We’ll provide you with an interesting roster of clients, processes, and playbooks to empower you to edit at the top of your game, along with ongoing support from our editorial team.

As an agency, we focus on creating high-quality content full of unique insights and value-adds. We’re not trying to replicate what’s already out there—anyone can do that. Every piece of content must have a purpose. If an audience isn’t blown away by our content, we haven’t done our job properly.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be editing approximately 10 to 15 pieces of content per week, depending on length, with access to copy editors and content coordinators to help you bring content to life. Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Conducting developmental edits for blog posts, landing pages, original research pieces, email content, and more
  • Copy editing to ensure every sentence packs a punch and moves the narrative forward (proofreading, fact-checking, improving on-page SEO, etc.)
  • Offering editorial support to clients as part of our advisory services
  • Coaching writers by offering detailed feedback with a “show, don’t tell” approach
  • Creating and updating client content guidelines based on feedback
  • Contributing to the writer recruitment and onboarding process
  • Ensuring clients experience delightful and white-glove experiences
About you:

We’re looking for editors who:

  • Have excellent attention to detail, and can communicate consistently and work to deadlines
  • Can write in a clear and concise manner, and enjoy polishing content to perfection
  • Are able to work at a rapid pace to meet fluctuating client demands
  • Can think strategically and critically with a strong grasp of marketing and SEO principles
  • Feel fulfilled by coaching and helping writers grow. Recognize what separates original content from the crowd
