Position: Content Creator + Content Manager / Editor (Part-Time; Remote, 1099 Contractor)
Salary: $35-$50/hour.

About the Job:

We seek a Content Creator + Content Manager / Editor to uphold and refine our brand standards across all content channels—email, podcast, YouTube, social media, and website—aligning with our company goals.
Your main role is to own the revision process and set new standards for our PoP (Path of Possibility) content to help more people achieve fulfilling work.
What You Will Do:
- Plan and strategize content schedules, manage launches, and oversee content creation with team members, hosts, guests, and editors to produce our podcast, YouTube channel, email, and social posts.
- Learn our content thoroughly and optimize it to educate, inspire, and stand out, ensuring all content meets PoP standards.
- As we grow, participate in a larger P & Marketing team.
Key Results:
- Maintain a content schedule at least 3 months ahead, ideally 6 months.
- Manage content projects effectively, consistently meeting deadlines with high standards.
- Exceed PoP Content Standards, reflected in positive feedback, growing subscribers, and increasing engagement metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve content standards continually.
- Lead content planning, story conception, and editorial calendar management.
- Gather content ideas from clients, listeners, readers, and team members.
- Manage content projects from start to finish.
- Create original content for emails and websites using HTYC teachings.
- Write compelling headlines and copy to engage the audience.
- Oversee website content and analytics to optimize performance.
- Manage content budgets.
- Collaborate with marketing to innovate and adapt content strategies.
- Edit and shape content to meet world-class standards and coach writers.
- Ensure visuals enhance storytelling and user experience.
- Support high-quality writing and storytelling practices.
- Plan and write content for launches, emails, podcast episodes, and scripts.
- Refine blog posts, guest posts, teaching notes, scripts, slide decks, workbooks, and other materials to be distinctive and aligned with our values.
Minimum Experience:
- Significant editing experience, maintaining quality and coaching others.
- Extensive writing experience, both personal and professional.
- Proficiency in crafting and testing headlines.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Experience with email platforms like ConvertKit, HubSpot, Keap, Pardot, Mailchimp, or similar.
- Experience running successful podcasts or YouTube channels.
- Familiarity with WordPress for site management and SEO.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote setting.
Bonus Points:
- Journalism, copywriting, marketing, behavioral science, or media experience.
- Experience with big media outlets or content production.
- Personal experience with career changes.
- Familiarity with our brand and podcast.
- Knowledge of agile work methodologies like Scrum or Kaizen.

Additional Duties:
- Update SOPs and training materials regularly.
- Perform other duties as the role evolves.
This is a fully remote position, with occasional in-person team gatherings.
