Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks an Ecosystem Restoration Professional for our Nashville-area office in Franklin, TN.

You will lead the ecosystem restoration design team and oversee planning, design, and implementation of stream, wetland, floodplain, and other restoration projects throughout Tennessee and beyond. You will apply expertise in stream morphology, hydrology, hydraulics, and natural channel design to guide projects from initial field assessment through final design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, ecology, geomorphology, environmental science, or related discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating project delivery.
• Knowledge of ecosystem restoration principles including stream morphology, hydrology, hydraulics.
• Experience designing restoration projects in streams, wetlands, floodplains, or nature-based solutions.
• Experience preparing design plans, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, or reports.
• Experience conducting field work on restoration projects.
• Experience coordinating projects across assessment, conceptual design, final design, and construction.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and team leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the ecosystem restoration design team and oversee planning, design, and implementation of projects.
• Direct projects throughout Tennessee and the surrounding region.
• Prepare, lead, and review design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform hydrologic, hydraulic, ecological, and geomorphic evaluations for design.
• Conduct field assessments and data collection to support project design.
• Provide construction-phase support and field oversight.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, contractors, clients, and regulators.
• Manage projects, mentor staff, and help grow CEC's ecosystem restoration practice.
