Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC) in Franklin, TN seeks a Principal Civil Engineer to lead the Civil/Site practice, grow client relationships across Tennessee, and manage high-impact land development projects. You will oversee proposals, budgets, and project execution while mentoring staff and expanding our regional presence.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in land development, a PE in Tennessee, and an established regional network of developers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the land development and civil engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee.
• Established professional network in the region with relationships among developers, architects, contractors, brokers, energy clients, or other land development stakeholders.
• Proven ability to originate opportunities, develop proposals, and convert client relationships into contracted work.
• Experience mentoring, developing, and leading staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead business development efforts for the Nashville Civil/Site practice, including identifying prospective clients, developing relationships, pursuing opportunities, and converting those relationships into new work.
• Develop and execute strategic client growth plans for new and existing clients.
• Manage land development and civil engineering projects from proposal through construction, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Review project designs, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, utilities, and water quality practices.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with offices to identify client needs and deliver integrated solutions.
