Job summary
Legacy Health in Oregon is seeking a highly skilled Echo Sonographer Site Lead to deliver advanced imaging and lead daily operations at the site.
You will supervise a team of sonographers, perform comprehensive echocardiograms, and drive workflow efficiency while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with physicians to improve cardiac care and staff development across the site.
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited cardiac sonography or echocardiography certificate program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
- Current state license in Sonography in Oregon and OBMI license to practice is mandatory.
- RDCS or RDCS credentials required at time of hire; CPR/BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team; coordinate day-to-day staffing, workflow, and training; serve as a resource for complex cases and new technologies.
- Perform a full range of echocardiography studies (2D/3D, Doppler, TEE, stress echo, bubble studies).
- Champion quality and safety; oversee equipment maintenance and patient experience.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and management to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentor staff and guide adoption of advanced therapies and future cardiac imaging improvements.
